Our story

Howard Resource Group grew from over a decade of hands-on technology work — repairing systems, building machines from scratch, and solving real problems for real people in North Georgia. What started as a passion for hardware became a professional practice built around one principle: do the job right, every time.
Today, HRG serves individuals, small businesses, and growing organizations — handling everything from custom workstation builds and managed IT contracts to website development and remote support. The work has scaled. The standard hasn't changed.
We are based in Dawsonville, Georgia and serve clients across North Georgia — and nationally through remote support and system shipping.

From the founder
There's always a way to fix it. And when there isn't, you build one.
My name is Ethan Howard, and I got into this the hard way. We had a house fire when I was a kid, and afterward my mom wouldn't let me get another game console — so I got a PC instead. I figured out fast that you could open it up and change it, and that you had to if you wanted real performance out of it. That was the spark, and I've been taking computers apart and making them better ever since.
What I love hasn't changed in ten years: a clean, finished build that runs beautifully for a long time. I don't half-do things. There's always a way to fix a problem — and on the rare occasion there isn't one yet, you make one. That's the part of the work that still gets me out of bed.
Here's the thing a lot of shops miss: we're here for the customer, not the computer. These machines are extensions of the people who own them — your work, your photos, your kid's homework, your business. So my real job isn't "fix the PC," it's get you back up and running. When I'm done, you'll understand what was wrong, what I did, why, and how to keep it from happening again.
Everything I do here is values-driven. I care about the people I work with. That's not a marketing line — it's the reason I started this in the first place, and it's what I hold myself to every day.
