Howard Resource Group is a limited liability company based in Dawsonville, Georgia, offering PC repair, custom builds, and remote tech support. Our website is howardresourcegroup.com.

What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you submit a form — including your name, email address, city, device type, and a description of your issue or request. We do not collect payment information through this website.

We also use Google Tag Manager to collect anonymous analytics data (pages visited, time on site, general location). This helps us understand how visitors use the site.

Managed IT clients

If we manage your IT, the service involves handling information beyond what this policy otherwise describes. This section explains what that is.

What the management software collects

Devices under management run software that reports operational information: hardware and operating system details, installed software and patch status, disk health and capacity, security alerts, backup job results, event logs relevant to faults, and the user account names associated with a device. This is technical telemetry, used to keep systems running and secure.

What it does not do

It is not used to read the contents of your personal or business files, monitor employee productivity, log keystrokes, or record screens outside a support session you are taking part in. Administrative access exists to deliver the service, is used only for that, and is logged.

Incidental access to your data

Delivering IT support sometimes means we can see business data — restoring a file, repairing a mailbox, diagnosing a database. We access only what the task requires, we do not copy it elsewhere, and we do not keep it once the work is done.

Service providers

Managed IT is delivered using third-party platforms for monitoring, endpoint security, backup and documentation. Those providers process data on our behalf, under their own terms, and only to deliver your service. A current list of the providers used in your environment is available on request.

Retention

Operational telemetry and support history are kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, for warranty, dispute and record-keeping purposes. Administrative credentials are removed at the end of an engagement and management software is uninstalled from your devices.

Regulated data

Where a client handles protected health information or other regulated data, a Business Associate Agreement or equivalent is executed before that data is handled, and its terms take precedence over this policy for the data it covers.

Cookies & tracking

This site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. These tools use cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (ID 1901189623927526) on this site to measure ad performance and track conversions. This tool may collect information about your browsing behavior for advertising purposes. You can opt out via Facebook's privacy settings.
