Common questions

How much does the HRG Tune-Up cost?

It's $75 for the first hour on-site, then $50/hr. Most tune-ups are about an hour. If a hardware upgrade like an SSD is the real fix, we'll quote that — parts at cost — before doing anything.

Do you really come to me?

Yes — the HRG Tune-Up is on-site. We come to your home or office across North Georgia: Dawsonville, Cumming, Gainesville, Canton, Dahlonega, and nearby.

How much faster will my computer be?

We target at least a 20% improvement. On budget machines the jump can be much bigger — especially if we add an SSD or more memory. We'll tell you honestly what's realistic for your hardware.

Is a tune-up the same as a repair?

No. A tune-up makes a working computer faster and cleaner. If something's actually broken, that's a repair — which starts with our $24.99 diagnostic.

What if a tune-up isn't enough?

Sometimes the honest answer is that the machine needs an upgrade or replacement. If so, we'll tell you straight rather than charge you to limp it along.
